User management

In order to collaborate with a team, Premium accounts have the possibility to manage users within the account. Only administrators can manage users.

Administrators have an extra symbol (user symbol) in the top right corner of the page. By pressing this symbol the "user page" is opened; here you can add new users, change existing users and disable users.

Add users
You can add users to your account instantly. These extra users can directly be added on the user page as long as your "maximum number of users" is not exceeded. If you cannot add an extra user on the user page, you have two possibilities:

- Raise the "maximum number of users" by clicking on the "company info" button. You will be billed for extra user(s).
- Disable another user

 

Change existing users
You can change user information, user roles and project access of individual users by pressing the "View" button. For safety reasons you cannot change your own user account but another administrator can!

 

Disable users
It is not possible to delete users, but you can disable them. Disabled users have no access to DesignSpecs. Also, disabled users do not count with regards to the "maximum number of users" you pay for. In other words: for each disabled user you can add a new user.

 

Decreasing maximum number of users
Decreasing the maximum number of users will not lead to a refund for the remaining period of your contract. However, at the time your contract is extended (after a year), you will only be billed for the maximum number of users set in your account.
