User roles

In a Premium Account, users of DesignSpecs can have two roles: administrator or designer.

New account

All accounts need to have at least one administrator. Therefore the person that upgrades his or her account automatically becomes an administrator. For safety reasons, this role can only be changed by another administrator.

Administrator role

Only administrators can:

- change account and company details
- add, edit or disable users (including user roles)
- create new projects
- regulate user access to projects

Projects

Within projects there is no difference between the role of "administrator" and "designer". Both have the same user rights.
