Randers+Radius

Randers+Radius is a Danish manufacturer of innovative and timeless design furniture. The production facility is based in Hadsten, Denmark. Randers+Radius collaborates with some of Denmark's most talented and established architects.

The company was founded in 2012. In that year two Danish furniture manufactures merged: R. Randers and Radius. Therefore together these companies combine 60 years of experience in making high quality design furniture.

The two owners, Niels Kastrup and Lars Andersen, have a great passion for creating innovative and smart furniture. Besides that they love to challenge new materials, even though this sometimes seems impossible. They believe the outcome and the benefits of what the new product has to offer is always worth the effort.

Randers+Radius has received several awards for creating innovative furniture, and the Grip table is a good example of this. It has won both the Danish Design Award and the international AZ-award.

Circularity

Circularity plays a huge role in the manufacturing process. Therefore Randers+Radius manufactures furniture that in all its simplicity fulfils several functions by virtue of materials, configuration and structure. The idea behind each piece of furniture focuses on optimising materials in terms of function, environment and finance.

Consequently, the furniture consists of as few joints and materials as possible. At the same time, it is tested to last for generations. The materials are straightforward and uncompromising. Also all materials can be recycled in new contexts when the furniture is to be replaced. This yields a circular life cycle and a circular economy that benefits everyone.
