Add custom products
It is very easy to add your own custom products to your own company database.
- These products are only available in your company database and shared with your colleagues
- These products can thereafter be copied easily into other projects *where you can add product specifications)
- You can always find your product in the menu “my products“
Please note that in order to use this functionality you will need to be logged in!
How to add custom products?
There are two ways to add your own custom products to DesignSpecs:
- You can add custom products on the “My products” page for direct or later use. Just press “Add new product” to add your product.
- You can add products directly into your project on the project card by pressing the button “Add custom product”. Adding a product this way has the advantage that you can directly add specifications. Also you can appoint the product directly to rooms within your project.
What information is needed?
To create a custom product you need the following information:
- Name of the brand
- Product name
- Picture
Also you need to add the custom product to a product category
How to add custom brands?
If a brand is not available on DesignSpecs then please contact us! We can add complete product ranges of brands on your request.
