Within a project you sometimes consider multiple products for the same position. In DesignSpecs it is possible to add as many product alternatives as you want for any product.
How does it work?
1) Just add a new product to your project using the “+”button or “add to project” button. Select a project, rooms and add specifications as normal.
2) On the “Add product to project” page, check the box “This is an alternative product”.
3) Select the product from the list where this product is an alternative for.
4) Click on the “Add to project” button and the product is added as an alternative!
Please note that alternative products can be accounted to other rooms and in other quantities as the main product. However: alternative products are alway placed right beside the main product in you project overview.
Tips:
– Want to make a product alternative the main product? Just open the alternative product within your project by clicking the editing symbol. Click on the button “Set Selected” to make the alternative product the main product. Please not that the rooms and quantity of this new main product are now leading.
